Our client is seeking a highly driven and resilient Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and support the continued growth of a world-class luxury brand. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, remains optimistic in fast-paced environments, and enjoys building structure, efficiency, and strong working relationships across teams and partners.
You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, administrative efficiency, and seamless coordination across business functions while supporting senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and operational oversight to ensure effective controls, systems, and reporting procedures are in place.
- Establish operational plans, budgets, performance measurements, and resource allocation; review progress and outcomes regularly.
- Coordinate with landlords, vendors, and contractors on all operational matters.
- Oversee warehouse and inventory management, including import/export logistics to maximise efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise with IT vendors to coordinate system maintenance and software updates.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance works meet required standards and remain within budget.
- Research and implement strategies to support manpower planning and resourcing needs.
- Lead and manage Office Administration and Service Administration teams.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across internal teams and stakeholders.
- Manage daily agendas, calendars, and schedules, coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for the General Manager.
- Handle travel logistics including flight bookings, hotel accommodation, and visa applications.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager of Steinway Gallery.
- Diploma / Degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of working experience.
- Highly independent, responsible, and resourceful.
- Flexible, resilient, and able to work well under pressure.
- IT-savvy with good proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Basic accounting knowledge is an advantage.
- As this is a music consumer industry - applicant who has appreciation for music is a plus, but not mandatory.
