Job SummaryMOR PPM Inc. is searching for Millwrights for an outage in Sutherland, NE.
Responsibilities- Minimum of 2 years of experience in this discipline are desired.
- The Millwright shall be familiar with OSHA rigging requirements and hand signals.
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
- Disassembly, repair, and reassembly on pumps and drives.
- Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of large circulating water pumps.
- Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of large fans, air-heaters and other large mechanical devices.
- Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of diesel engines.
- Working to written procedures.
- Troubleshooting.
- OSHA Requirements All craft are required to have OSHA 10 prior to arriving on site.
Using gsa.ogv rates. $178/paid 7 days (except 1st and last week of work – paid days worked). Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles using shortest distance calculation. No per diem will be paid on days missed. Per Diem must be verified and we must retain records for audit. Need 2 items (1 from each list below) and must be dated within 60-90 days of start date.

- Utility bill for water, gas, electricity, cable or land line at least 30 days old but no more than 3 months
- Major credit card bill at least 30 days old but no more than 3 months (black out account number if provided)
- Mortgage receipt for permanent address within the past 3 months
- Rent receipt for permanent address within the past 3 months
- City, county or other property tax statements within the past 12 months
- DMV vehicle registration
- State or federal tax return (if prepared by someone else, proof of payment to tax preparer). First and last page only suggested; black out sensitive information if provided
- Voter registration card
$400 in and out for those with permanent address greater than 200 miles. Must get ROF/RIF for travel out.
Completion Bonus (outage Only)$3.00/ST and $4.50/OT to base rate. Must meet safety, attendance, and compliance site rules and finish assignment with Lay Off.
Physical Demands- Occasional lifting of items weighing a maximum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.
- Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
- Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
- Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
- Weather conditions can be wet, humid, hot or cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
- Normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
- Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
