Burmese Interpreter - Rapport International
Apply for the Burmese Interpreter role at Rapport International. We are a busy interpreting service provider seeking hard‑working, fully bilingual foreign‑language interpreters to provide in‑person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their cultural knowledge to help non‑English speakers in their area and enjoy flexible hours.
Requirements- Fully bilingual in Burmese (and any other languages spoken)
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality / HIPAA compliance
- In‑person interpreter only, must have transportation to attend local appointments
- Technical skills for learning and using an online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required); must have access to a printer
- Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
- Background checks and drug screens required
- Schedule is PRN (as needed), part‑time (or less depending on languages spoken) and flexible based on interpreter availability and preferences. Applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.
