About the Role
We are looking for a Scrum Master/ Agile Coach to support government agencies in adopting and scaling agile ways of working. You will work closely with product teams, leadership stakeholders, and delivery partners to improve collaboration, product delivery practices, and team effectiveness across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Provide agile coaching and guidance to government agencies and project teams, supporting their agile adoption and transformation journey.
- Promote agile principles, values, and practices in coordination with internal agile coaching teams.
- Partner with Product Owners, technical teams, and stakeholders to improve understanding of agile methodologies and support informed decision‑making.
- Coach teams in developing product strategies, delivery approaches, and validation methods throughout the product lifecycle.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and collaborative workshops such as sprint planning, retrospectives, customer journey mapping, ideation sessions, and problem‑solving workshops.
- Support teams in resolving conflicts, improving communication, and strengthening collaboration across stakeholders.
- Assess vendors’ technical capabilities and agile maturity, and work with service providers to ensure effective agile software delivery.
- Guide teams in continuous improvement practices and help remove delivery impediments.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in an Agile, Scrum Master, or team facilitation role within software product development.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent) is required.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or Extreme Programming (XP).
- Hands‑on experience with collaboration and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack, Kanbanise).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and basic Dev Ops concepts.
- Good facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Scrum Product Owner, Agile Coaching, or professional coaching certifications.
- Exposure to agile transformation, organisational change management, or working with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in service design, design thinking, or workshop facilitation.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes or agile contracts.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline (not mandatory).
