Job Summary:
As part of this highly visible and fast‑paced Leidos prime contract, the COMSEC Network Engineer will work in a small team of COMSEC personnel to support both local and field site communications infrastructure. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, operation, and maintenance of COMSEC equipment and software, ensuring they meet security standards.
- Enforce COMSEC policies and procedures in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Assess and manage risks associated with communications security.
- Maintain accurate inventory of COMSEC material, including keying equipment and cryptographic keys, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments and external organizations to ensure seamless communication and compliance with COMSEC requirements.
- Investigate and report any COMSEC incidents, breaches, or anomalies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- The candidate should have prior experience in COMSEC.
Qualifications :
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional systems administration/network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Security Clearance
:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required to be considered for this role. - Certification Requirement
:
Network + or equivalent with approval.

Pay RangePay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
