TITLE
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
SCHEDULE
Shift: 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM, 2 out of 3 weekends, block scheduling available
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks

REQUIREMENTS
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification (for RNs assigned to the Obstetrics Department)
- Labor and Delivery experience
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess the physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients of all ages.
- Report and document observed symptoms, reactions, and changes in patients' conditions.
- Utilize the nursing process to direct and deliver patient care, including the development and evaluation of care plans.
- Administer medications according to the Five Rights of Medication Administration.
- Educate patients and families about health-related issues appropriate to their age and understanding.
- Create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients and families.

- Compliance with the rules and regulations of federal, state, and local laws, as well as PMHC policies, is a condition of employment.
- Maintains patient and employee confidentiality at all times.
- Complies with PMHC Code of Conduct.
