Travel Pharmacist - Grant, NE

A community pharmacy in Grant, NE is seeking a full-time pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment to support increased prescription volume. This independent pharmacy has recently absorbed local prescriptions due to area closures and is expanding, with a second location opening soon. The pharmacist will play a critical role in maintaining quality service during this period of growth.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications accurately under managerial supervision and ensuring safe, timely delivery to customers. The pharmacist will counsel patients on their medication regimens, address inquiries and concerns with professionalism, and manage stock and controlled substance records. Handling third-party coverage clarifications and administering immunizations are also key duties.

This position operates Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, covering first shifts, with occasional weekend hours as needed. The pharmacy currently fills over 10,000 prescriptions per month and uses Liberty Rx software. The team environment features experienced staff with long tenure to provide strong support for new pharmacists.
