Valley County Health System is seeking an Office Technician to join our Home Health & Hospice team. This position is full-time working 40 hours per week.
JOB SUMMARY- answering phone calls
- Demonstrating excellent customer service to clients and staff
- Maintaining records, schedules and files
- Generating reports
- Verifying insurance eligibility
- Providing nursing staff support
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong experience with computers (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Previous office experience is preferred.
- Independent problem‑solving skills and self‑directed work experience
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful but not required.
