Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time day schedule in a mixed outpatient and inpatient rehab setting, requiring NE PT license and BLS certification.

• Primarily outpatient caseload with coverage in inpatient, ortho, and home health as needed
• Standard rehab procedures including evaluation and treatment in all rehab areas
• Standard rehab modalities used such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and compression devices
• Standard exercise equipment including treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and weight machines are utilized
• Uses Cerner for electronic medical records
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule
• May float to inpatient and home health units as coverage requires
• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with a broad mix of rehab needs across settings
• Professional casual dress code is required
• Standard hospital orientation provided with HR and department staff
• References must include one supervisor reference within the last 12 months and one additional peer or supervisor reference from the same specialty within the last 3 years

• Current Nebraska PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• 1-2 years of experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered
