Right at Home of Norfolk, Nebraska is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and empathetic individual that enjoys improving the quality of life for others. The main duties will include helping a client in Albion, NE with light housekeeping, laundry, assistance with mobility when needed, bathing, medication reminders, and meal preparation. Dementia experience is a plus, and supervision of the client’s safety will be a very important part of this job, while the largest responsibility is to provide outstanding companionship and great company during these trying times.

Currently, we can conduct virtual interviews and trainings from the safety of your own home via Facetime and Zoom with a quick turnaround time.

• Provide companionship for the client, including accompanying them to appointments, walks, trips to social or recreational activities, and assistance with hobbies.
• Light housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions; may shop for groceries.
• Supervise safety for all activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, transfers, and ambulation.

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid automobile insurance
• Authorization to work in the United States Ability to demonstrate an excellent work ethic
