Talented Medical Solutions is looking for a skilled and versatile X-Ray / CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Valentine, Nebraska. This is an excellent position for a multi-modality imaging professional who enjoys a mix of responsibilities in a rural, tight-knit healthcare environment.
Position Overview
In this dual-role position, you’ll perform both general radiographic and CT imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Your ability to adapt and maintain patient comfort and image accuracy will directly support quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency X-ray and CT scans using appropriate protocols
- Ensure patient safety and proper positioning during exams
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment
- Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly and compassionately
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to all imaging regulations
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Active Nebraska Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in both X-ray and CT modalities preferred
- Strong technical and patient care skills
- Comfortable working in rural or critical access hospital settings
