Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily works of 3 Accounts Executive to ensure accuracies of the accounting entries for the groups entitles.
- Review monthly management reports and financial highlights, ensure reports are sent out on time.
- Prepare consolidated financial reports.
- Review of AP from subsidiaries from regional offices (Indonesia and Malaysia), ensure they comply with the finance SOP.
- Ensure timely submission of accounts by subsidiary companies.
- Co-ordinate year-end audit process & check audited financial statements for Singapore and Malaysia entities.
- Reconcile intercompany balances between subsidiary companies.
- Review and restructure loan agreement between subsidiaries.
- Improve policies & procedures to streamline accounting processes.
- Prepare Annual Budgets & Forecasts and assist in reviewing of tax returns.
- Review & enhance financial processes where key information and analysis are produced, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
- Support the group in financial project assignments related to investments, tax and legal compliance.
- Perform other ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum 8 years’ experience as an Accountant or at least 2 years’ experience in similar industries (trading, management consultancy, investment management, private equity).
- Fast paced team player that is able to work independently with tight datelines, self-motivated.
- Meticulous, initiative, and strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Has good leadership qualities, good communication skills, meticulous.
- Candidates must be willing and able to travel to our regional offices frequently.
- Candidates will undergo 2 rounds of interview with some pre-employment assessment tests as part of the recruitment procedure.
- All new hires will be offered a yearly renewable employment contract, which may be renewed up to two times before conversion into permanent employment.
