Finance Assistant Manager (Luxury Retail) (Must Have CPA/ CA)
Our client, a renowned luxury retail company based in Switzerland, is seeking an Finance Manager to join their team. With a workforce of 55 employees, the company offers a fantastic working environment.
Location:
Orchard (10 Min Walk from MRT)
Working days and hours:
Mon - Fri (9am - 6pm)
Package include: AWS and VB (depending on Performance)
Financial and Management Reporting:
Prepare accurate and timely statutory reports with consolidation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards and internal policies, including statutory accounts for various entities.
Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and other management reports, alongside performing variance analysis.
Ensure intercompany reconciliations are accurate and completed on time.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist the Head of Finance in the creation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget performance, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions when necessary.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations, accounting standards, corporate policies, and internal control procedures.
Assist in coordinating both internal and external audits, ensuring the implementation of recommendations.
Prepare and review GST/WHT returns.
Review corporate tax schedules and computations, collaborating with tax consultants as required.
Cash Management:
Oversee cash inflows and outflows to maintain sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Prepare cash flow projections for various entities.
Review subsidiary cash flow projections.
Team Support:
Review the work of Assistant Accountants, offering guidance to ensure compliance with internal controls, local regulations, and accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial matters within operations.
Process Improvement:
Assist in developing guidelines and identifying opportunities for improving financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure the proper functioning of the accounting system, including tasks like price updates, year-end rollovers, and finalizing all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Other Responsibilities:
Prepare Government Statistics Surveys as required.
Undertake additional finance-related tasks as assigned by the Head of Finance.
