Market Risk Analyst (Trading /Commodities/Up to $6.5k+VB) JF Responsibilities

• Ensuring Data validation and integrity in CTRM system
• Generating and maintaining daily forward curves
• Daily trading P&L attribution and reporting to traders and management. Identifying key drivers of P&L and reconciliation against trader’s estimates
• Exposure and pricing reporting
• Responsible for MTM methodologies on physical positions
• Ensuring that risk control processes and frameworks are monitored, highlighting any breaches to the Head of Market Risk
• Working closely with commercial and front office teams to ensure that any variables that have an exposure on P&L impact are captured and reported
• Assist accounting and finance department with queries and month-end closing
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head of Market Risk

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree with a major in a Finance, Chemical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 or more years of work experience in a trading/ commodities house in a similar job function. Ideally with experience in dealing with both physical and derivatives positions
• Must have strong inter-personal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Results oriented, with a strong desire to succeed
