We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead and oversee critical construction projects from planning to successful handover. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, ensure stringent quality and safety standards, and drive project deliverables on time and within budget. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing complex site operations and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Project Leadership & Strategy

Lead the planning, coordination, and supervision of all site activities, ensuring alignment with project milestones and budget.

Develop and implement project execution strategies, risk mitigation plans, and resource allocation schedules.

Technical Authority & Compliance

Serve as the primary technical reviewer for all drawings, specifications, method statements, and subcontractor submissions.

Ensure strict adherence to all safety, quality, and environmental regulations, as well as Singapore statutory requirements (e.g., BCA, SCDF, MOM).

Stakeholder & Team Management

Act as the main technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and authorities; lead resolution of complex site issues.

Mentor and supervise junior engineers and site staff; manage and evaluate subcontractor performance.

Execution & Delivery

Oversight of progress, materials procurement, and logistics to prevent delays.

Lead testing, commissioning, and final project close-out, ensuring seamless handover with complete documentation (as-built drawings, O&M manuals).

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 5–7 years of relevant site experience, with a proven track record in a main contractor environment.

Demonstrated experience in managing medium to large-scale building projects.

In-depth knowledge of local construction standards, codes, and authority submission procedures.

Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, BIM) and AutoCAD/Revit.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
