• Operate and maintain wastewater lagoons, UV disinfection, and odor control systems.
• Perform sampling, monitoring, and in‑house lab testing for wastewater quality.
• Support other compliance programs: air quality, stormwater management, spill prevention, and waste disposal.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, street sweepers, and aeration systems.
• Conduct EPA Method 9 visible emissions testing and help enforce dust control measures.
• Assist with safe handling, labeling, and disposal of chemicals, oils, and waste streams.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC records and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Serve as lab backup for tank readings when needed.

• Required
  :
  Nebraska Class I Wastewater Operator Certification.
• Physically able to climb stairs/ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting/maintenance skills.
• Preferred: prior lab or forklift experience, pesticide applicator license.
• Self‑motivated, safety‑conscious, and able to manage multiple priorities.
