Licensed Surveyor – Olsson

Olsson is currently seeking a seasoned Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team. As a PLS you will use cutting‑edge technology like drones, GPS scanning, Trimble, and more. You will maintain client relationships, lead our survey crew and drafting technicians, manage projects, provide training, and ensure survey accuracy in a dynamic, innovative environment.

- Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the surveying process.
- Lead and supervise survey crew staff and drafting technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Efficiently manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Take ownership of project estimates and job proposals, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
- Assume responsibility for the financial performance of assigned projects, ensuring profitability and cost‑effectiveness.

- Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- 8 years of experience in survey performing and managing land surveys, including property and right‑of‑way determinations, boundary, ALTA, platting, land divisions, and topographic surveys.
- Licensed Land Surveyor, required.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center.
