Position: Preschool Teacher - Wymore 1899
Location: Wymore

Wymore Head Start in Wymore, NE, is looking for an energetic, nurturing person who desires to contribute to an excellent environment of education through play, while helping to shape the future of our preschoolers.

Anticipated START DATE for this position is July 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement integrated curriculum plans, which reflect developmentally appropriate practice, parental and cultural influences, promote the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of enrolled children, and support the program s school readiness goals.

Manage daily classroom functions and facilitate team development.

Collect, aggregate, and analyze child assessment data.

Nourish an atmosphere that promotes and provides opportunities for parent engagement and community partnerships.

Model sensitivity, build and foster relationships.

Communicate effectively and professionally with both children and adults.

Ensure the operation and maintenance of a safe, clean, healthy and productive work environment.

Maintain professional competence through professional growth and development opportunities.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in a timely manner.

Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess at least an Associate s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or meet the requirements of the Head Start Act.

At least one year of successful work experience in a formal preschool setting is preferred.

This is a full time position at 36 hrs/week; M-F; off over the summer approx mid-May through mid-Aug
