Communication Sciences and Disorders – Part‑Time Lecturer Pool
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part‑Time Lecturer Pool. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.
PositionPart‑time lecturers will be drawn on as needed and are often appointed just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants must be available on very short notice.

- Clinical Supervision
- Master’s or PhD in Communicative Disorders (M.A., M.S., AuD, PhD, EdD)
- Prior university‑level teaching experience or at least 5 years as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse student population, including first‑generation college students
- Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist or Audiologist with ASHA‑CCC and California state licensure
- Significant teaching experience with diverse populations and ability to foster a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment
- SLPs who are bilingual and can provide clinical supervision

Appointment Date and Academic CalendarPart‑time faculty are most needed in Fall and Spring semesters. Fall term begins late August and ends mid‑December;
Spring term runs from mid‑January to end of May. Occasionally, part‑time faculty are needed during Summer sessions.
Evaluations are made in accordance with the CSU Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070. These determine future teaching assignments and may involve review of syllabi and reading material.
Appointment and SalaryAppointments are made as Lecturers. Classifications range from $5,507 to $6,677 per month, dependent on qualifications. Compensation is prorated by units worked and paid in weekly installments. For a three‑unit assignment, typical starting compensation ranges from $6,608.40 to $7,465.20 per semester.
