Asian American Studies – Part‑Time Lecturer Pool

The Department of Asian American Studies at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its part‑time lecturer pool. The pool is used as needed to fill teaching positions; qualified applicants will be contacted when openings arise. Positions are temporary, often morning just prior to the academic term, and instructors must be available on short notice.

• ABD doctoral candidate or master’s degree with substantial graduate coursework in Asian American Studies, ethnic studies, or a related field.
• Expertise relevant to the department’s curriculum.processing
• Evidence of prior relevant teaching, mentoring, or tutoring experience.
• Evidence of experience in a relevant academic field or in professional/community‑based work.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a diverse, culturally broad student body, including first‑generation college students.

• Experience fostering a collaborative, supportive, inclusive environment with diverse populations.
• Relevant professional work experience, including non‑traditional career backgrounds.
