We are looking for a talented, creative, and driven
Content & Social Media Executive to join our marketing team. This role requires a skilled storyteller with a strong command of language and a good eye for aesthetics, capable of creating compelling content across platforms—from articles and marketing copy to social media posts and video content. The ideal candidate will be a digital native who understands how to engage audiences through storytelling, visual media, and platform-appropriate content strategies.
Key Responsibilities - Content Writing & Editing
Write engaging, well-researched articles, marketing copy, campaign content, and event coverage for social media, websites, and print. Proofread and edit copy to ensure consistency in tone, grammar, and brand voice.
Social Media & Campaign Execution
Plan, write, and schedule content for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Linked In, etc.).
Collaborate with design and marketing teams to develop creative concepts and content calendars.
Monitor post-performance, audience engagement, and trends to optimise content strategy.
Work closely with graphic designers and video editors to align messaging with visual storytelling.
Contribute creative ideas and messaging for campaign launches, promotions, and events.
Multimedia Content Creation
Edit short-form videos for social media using tools like
Cap Cutor Adobe Premiere Pro.
Design basic social media graphics using
Canva.
Use of Photoshopor other Adobe tools is a plus.
Agile Execution
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple content deadlines under tight timelines.
Remain up-to-date with content trends, cultural shifts, and platform algorithms.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
Minimum3 years of professional experience in content writing, copywriting, blogging, or digital publishing
Strong portfolio showcasing versatility in writing styles and tone for different platforms.
Demonstrated experience in social media content creation and scheduling.
Excellent command of written English with strong storytelling and conceptual thinking skills.
Proficiency in using:
Canva(for basic design creation)
Photoshop(preferred but not mandatory)
Familiar with content management systems, social media scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite), and analytics (e.g. Instagram Insights, Meta Ads Manager).
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Passion for design, creativity, and the evolving digital landscape.
