Audit Manager

We are looking for a skilled Audit Manager to join our expanding accounting team in Hooper, NE. The Audit Manager will oversee audits from start to finish, guarantee compliance with U.S. GAAP and auditing standards, and work closely with internal teams and clients in a collaborative, professional environment.

• Plan, lead, and execute internal and external audit engagements for clients in Hooper, NE.
• Review audit documentation, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure all audit work aligns with U.S. GAAP, professional standards, and internal control policies.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop audit staff and senior accountants to strengthen the team.
• Identify potential audit risks and suggest improvements to processes and controls.
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients and stakeholders on audit‑related matters.
• Manage audit timelines, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive audit experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, auditing standards, and internal controls.
• Experience in public accounting, internal audit, or regulated industries preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting and audit software, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Hooper, NE part‑time.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Skilled in managing multiple audits and meeting strict deadlines.
