Maintenance Technician

Element Resources is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Forest City, Missouri. The starting pay is between $25.20 - $35.19 per hour, depending on experience. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered. Working C or D shift; shift differentials are $1.20 and $1.45 per hour. Eligible to earn an attendance bonus in addition to your regular pay rate - paid weekly, 8.4% of wages (nearly $2.00 per hour more!).

Element provides an essential supply of recycled products to America s battery manufacturers to produce high-quality, top-performing batteries to power cars, trucks and forklifts, which are vital to keeping our country s supply chain running.

• Repair and upkeep of all plant and mobile equipment.
• Communicate with Breaker, Refining, Maintenance, QA/lab, and other departments to insure continual process.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, flue pipes, water lines, and hydraulic systems.
• Install, maintain and repair all piping in the facility.
• Install, maintain and repair valves, hoses, fittings, bearings, gauges and meters in facility.
• Weld and repair all metal units in facility.
• Fabricate equipment and parts.

• High degree of welding experience and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to organize and plan workflow.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer skills.
• Certification in the use of the following mobile equipment (training will be provided if necessary):
  • Crane
  • Forklift
  • Loader
  • Manlift
• Must achieve passing score on pre-employment assessment.
