We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer for a 3-month remote engagement, working within the framework of Inside IR35 via an umbrella company. This role requires a candidate with deep, hands‑on experience in Python development and AWS cloud services, focusing on application development rather than Dev Ops or operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure applications within AWS environments, ensuring best practices in security, performance, and reliability.

• Minimum of 5+ years of hands‑on Python development experience, with a proven track record in building robust applications.
• Extensive experience working with AWS cloud services, including AWS Lambda, IAM, Cloud Formation, and other relevant tools.
• Strong knowledge of boto3 API and experience in developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of testing frameworks, unit testing, and regression testing methodologies.
• Deep understanding of AWS networking, security best practices, and IAM concepts such as roles, users, resource policies, and SCPs.
• Experience hosting and deploying applications within AWS environments.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Cloud Formation or Terraform.
• Familiarity with Flask API development and Python-based API development within AWS.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications tailored for AWS cloud environments.
• Implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs using Flask and Python, integrating with various AWS services.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, infrastructure, and processes for future reference and compliance.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS features and Python development practices to continually improve application quality.
