Fire & Security Systems Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join a growing and professional technical team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, servicing, and fault diagnosis of a range of electronic security and life-safety systems across commercial and residential sites.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be committed to high standards of workmanship, customer service, and compliance, with strong technical knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities- Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of fire and security systems
- Fault finding and repair across multiple system types
- Working on systems including (but not limited to):
- Fire alarm systems
- Intruder alarms
- CCTV systems
- Access control systems
- Door entry and associated communications systems
- Completing works in line with relevant British Standards and regulations
- Accurately completing job reports and documentation
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service on-site
- Participating in an on-call rota (split into days, not weeks)
08:00 - 16:30
Overtime paid at 1.5x when working past contracted hours on weekdays
Paid travel time for journeys exceeding 30 minutes each way

Candidate Requirements- Previous experience working with fire and/or security systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude with strong communication skills
