Account Executive – based at client site

Our client is a leading print management company that provides impeccable service to all clients and accommodates every marketing need.

They are looking for a passionate Account Executive to be based at one of their key retail client’s sites. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship with the client, providing solutions tailored to their needs, whilst delivering regular updates to the production team.

The main responsibilities of the role:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and their marketing team.
  • Act as the contact between the client and production.
  • Understanding the client’s needs and challenges.
  • Provide recommendations and tailored solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates to the client and factory on project progress and status.
  • Address and resolve client issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Daily use of our internal systems.
  • Maintain systems and keep client’s information up to date.
  • Work closely with the client and our production team planning projects, campaigns and ad‑hoc work.
  • Provide quotes and lead times to the client and acquire purchase orders.
  • Check all purchase orders are correct and work with the accounts team, keeping invoicing up to date.
  • Provide reports such as delivery, store ordering, SLA and costing reports.
  • Plan new store openings with the client’s project director and retail director.
  • Plan POS installations and outwork with external suppliers.
  • Explore and create new ideas and opportunities with the client to help their business grow.
  • Work with the client services manager, keeping them up to date on your current and future work.
  • Manage store orders to ensure they are dispatched, delivered on time and to the agreed SLA.
  • Address queries from stores and regional managers.
  • Manage and prioritise your workload, keeping all relevant persons up to date on the status of your projects.
  • Work with the dispatch team around all types of deliveries, from individual store orders to large campaigns.
  • Work directly with the design team and collaborate on projects.
  • Build and maintain business and client process maps.
  • Provide general support to the Senior Account Manager.

Skills you should have:

  • Experience in an account managing role, ideally within the print industry, POS, sign production or similar.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office skills are essential.
  • Project management and planning skills, being able to deliver quotes, lead times and projects on time and within the client’s budget.
  • Focused and proactive.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Be able to work under pressure and to a deadline.
  • Able to follow and understand company and client process maps.
