An exciting opportunity has arisen to join award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service.

Are you passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team? We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team.

You will be supporting the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service Grange Primary School
. This may involve working at a production unit or at a servery unit. Possible tasks include food preparation, cooking, portion control, allergen compliance and preparing the dining room for service.

• Support the kitchen supervisor in all areas of service, possibly at a production unit or servery unit.
• Perform food preparation, cooking, and portion control.
• Ensure allergen compliance and assist in preparing the dining room for service.
• Serve meals and act as the point of contact with customers while upholding food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Contribute to creating positive lunchtime experiences in a school environment.

• Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment.
