You’ll be an experienced Dev Ops professional with deep expertise in Git Hub Enterprise administration, comfortable advising on governance, security, and best practice across large‑scale environments. You’ll thrive in collaborative settings, be confident assessing technical landscapes, and have the ability to recommend and implement effective improvements.

As a Senior Dev Ops Consultant (Git Hub SME), you’ll take ownership of Git Hub Enterprise governance and security, ensuring that development teams across the organisation follow best practices. You’ll design and implement scalable structures, optimise automation workflows, and help shape secure and efficient CI/CD processes. This is a strategic, hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working across teams to improve the way engineering is delivered at scale.

• Administer Git Hub Enterprise across large and complex organisational environments.
• Define and implement repository governance, access control, and change management processes.
• Enable and manage Git Hub Advanced Security (GHAS) features including code scanning, secret scanning, and dependency management.
• Integrate Git Hub with enterprise identity systems such as Azure AD/Entra  secure SSO.
• Support and optimise CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows (Git Hub Actions).
• Assess current environments, identify gaps, and propose effective, scalable improvements.
• Proven experience managing Git Hub Enterprise in enterprise‑scale or multi‑team environments.
• Strong understanding of governance, security, and repository structure best practices.
• Practical experience with GHAS, SSO integration, and Dev Ops automation (CI/CD).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience migrating from Bitbucket, Git Lab, or SVN.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Broader knowledge of Dev Sec Ops  or cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
