The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 8A Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Neath Port Talbot and Singleton. This is a 3-month booking, starting from 14th October 2024 to 19th January 2025. The successful candidate will provide expert pharmaceutical advice to clinical teams, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will provide expert pharmaceutical advice to clinical teams. You will ensure the safe and effective use of medications. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. You will conduct medication reviews and provide recommendations. You will support the development and implementation of clinical guidelines.
Requirements- Experience/Knowledge:
- Up to date GPhC registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy or Oncology Pharmacy is preferred.
- Hospital experience is required.
- Experience in a Clinical Pharmacy setting.
- Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
