We are recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer to work for an industry leading manufacturer in Neath. The company in question is innovative, forward thinking and going through an impressive period of growth. As Health and Safety Officer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of employees while fostering a culture of safety and compliance.

As Health and Safety Officer you will:

Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices, ensuring a high level of awareness and compliance.
Investigate incidents and accidents, producing detailed reports and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure the organisation remains compliant with all relevant health and safety legislation.
