Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for supporting young learners?
Teacher Active is proud to be working with a wonderful Welsh-medium Primary School in Neath, who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to make a real difference in their education journey.

The Role:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh

Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils across KS1

Assisting with classroom preparation, learning materials, and displays

Promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Working closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a fluent Welsh speaker (essential)

Have experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting

Be caring, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting pupils’ development

Hold a relevant qualification in education or childcare (or be willing to work towards one)
