Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain cum Procurement Manager with 15–17 years of experience in the engineering/manufacturing sector, capable of independently managing the entire purchase and supply chain team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, vendor management expertise, and a proven track record in cost optimization and procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the procurement and supply chain operations independently.
Source and procure materials such as sheets, rods, pipes, structural steel, castings, and structural sheets.
Interpret engineering drawings and designs to understand material specifications and requirements.
Conduct vendor scouting and negotiations to ensure best pricing, quality, and lead times.
Identify and implement cost reduction strategies across the procurement cycle. Maintain a strong understanding of the metal market trends and pricing.
Manage job work processes such as laser cutting, bending, machining, CED coating, galvanizing, etc.
Oversee and streamline end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement planning, logistics, and inventory management.
prepare and maintain MIS reports related to procurement and supply chain performance.
Foster strong vendor relationships and evaluate vendor performance regularly.
Lead and develop a team of purchase and supply chain executives.
Travel as needed to source materials and inspect vendors/suppliers.
Coordinate closely with production, design, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
