DLP Analyst

Role:  DLP Analyst  .

Role Overview :  As a DLP Analyst within our Data Security (IRM COE) team, you will be the frontline defender of our enterprise information. You will oversee the deployment, stabilization, and daily operations of cutting-edge Data Loss Prevention and Digital Rights Management (DRM) solutions to protect our most critical assets.

Job Accountabilities:
DLP Operations:  Manage the full lifecycle of DLP incidents (detection, handling, and remediation) using tools like Zscaler, Symantec, and MS Purview.
Threat Analysis:  Identify and mitigate insider threat scenarios through rigorous data organization and filtering.
Technical Oversight:  Review data classification processes and manage DRM products (Seclore, MS Purview) to ensure seamless protection.
Reporting & Insights:  Translate complex technical data into polished, easy-to-understand reports and dashboards for management.
Stakeholder

Collaboration:

Act as a bridge between technical security teams and non-technical business units to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with SLAs.

Skills & Knowledge

Required:

Tool Mastery:  3+ years of experience with DLP products (Zscaler, Symantec, McAfee, or MS Purview).
Security Fundamentals:  Deep understanding of Information Security, data classification, and endpoint protection (e.g., Websense proxies).
Analytical Rigor:  Proven ability to organize large datasets and identify patterns in data movement.
Communication:  Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to 'translate' security risks for business leaders.

Key Attributes (Experience & Qualifications):

Education:

BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA/MS from a recognized institute.

Experience:

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an Information Security Operations Centre (ISOC).
Technical Edge:  Proficiency in generating automated reports, statistics, and security dashboards.
Certifications (Preferred):  CEH, CCNA Security, CISSP, CISM, or GIAC.
