Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned and hands-on Technical Support Person   with over 4 years of experience in internal IT support, who can drive the support and delivery of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong technologist with deep expertise in End User Computing Devices, Servers, Network and Security. This role requires close collaboration with Business users and executives and business stakeholders to manage enterprise IT Landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:
Provide maintenance and Level-2 support for laptops and desktops, including hardware and OS-related issue resolution.
Perform server maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.
Manage and troubleshoot networking devices such as firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and CCTV/RTC systems.
Implement and support network concepts including VLANs, virtual IPs, interfaces, network policies, and SD-WAN.
Assist in planning, deployment, and upgradation of new IT infrastructure, including hardware and network components.
Maintain accurate IT asset records, including procurement, allocation, tracking, and lifecycle management.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution, upgrades, and renewals.
Ensure adherence to IT security policies and best practices.
Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Exposure to manage medical devices like Illumina, Pacbio among many others  is desirable.

Required Qualifications:

Experience of 4-6 years of supporting Enterprise IT landscape.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and end-user device troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience in server maintenance and basic administration.
Good understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, virtual IPs, interfaces, firewalls, and SD-WAN.

Experience with switches, access points, firewall devices, and CCTV systems.
Ability to handle infrastructure deployment and upgrades with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of IT asset management processes and tools.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Networking (CCNA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Experience in hospital / enterprise / multi-location IT environments.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITSM processes.
