Role Overview
We're looking for a Social Media Intern who is passionate about science communication, storytelling, and digital engagement. You'll work closely with the marketing and scientific writing teams to craft content that educates, engages, and builds trust across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across platforms (Linked In, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube)
Repurpose scientific content into bite-sized, engaging formats (reels, carousels, infographics, stories)
Monitor trends and propose creative campaign ideas aligned with brand and audience interests
Engage with followers, respond to queries/comments, and build an active community
Track social media metrics and provide regular performance insights
Support campaigns around product launches, awareness days, and events
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (pursuing or completed) in Communications, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related fields Strong interest in science communication and digital storytelling
Familiarity with social platforms and tools like Canva, Instagram Insights, Linked In Analytics, etc.
Good written communication skills and basic visual/design sense
Ability to work with fast-moving teams and adapt tone as per audience (B2B and B2C)
