Trinity Heads, Inc. is searching for a Senior Equipment Technician (2nd shift) in our Navasota, Texas Facility. This role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to determine causes of operating problems in areas including but not limited to plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Performs complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components including basic pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Troubleshoots electrical problems up to 480v, performs preventative maintenance and testing on electrical wiring and components.
- Performs preventive maintenance and electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery and components.
- Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints , and other specifications using electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Lays out, builds, tests trouble shoots, repairs and modifies production electronic components, parts, switch panels etc.
- May test new equipment, trouble shoot operation, make minor adjustments to equipment.
- Maintains and completes all required records.
- Follows all safety rules and practices.
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2-4 years of related experience; hydraulics or furnace specialty experience a plus
- Ability to ready equipment drawing, and electrical & hydraulics schematics
- May require working above ground (15 ft. or more)
- Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects, comfortable with heights.
- May require working in narrow or confined work spaces for extended periods of time.
