The Sales Counselor is responsible, under the direction of the Sales and Marketing Director, for driving and sustaining community occupancy through lead generation, tours, relationship building, and consistent follow-up.
This role requires a self-motivated, organized, and professional sales professional who can build trust with prospective residents and families while managing multiple prospects through the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, strong closing skills, and a genuine passion for serving seniors.
Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and manage qualified leads through outreach, networking, and community engagement
Conduct personalized community tours that highlight lifestyle, services, and value
Build strong relationships with prospective residents, families, and referral partners
Maintain timely and consistent follow-up to move prospects through the sales funnel
Accurately document sales activities and maintain CRM integrity
Collaborate with operations to ensure a smooth and welcoming move-in experience
Support community events, marketing initiatives, and occupancy goals
Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and accountability in achieving census targets
Prior senior living, assisted living, healthcare, or hospitality sales experience preferred
Proven ability to build relationships and close consultative sales
Highly organized with strong time management skills
Professional communication and presentation skills
Self-starter who thrives in a goal-driven environment
Compassionate approach when working with seniors and families
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office preferred
