Reports to: Foreman (General Manager if Foreman position unfilled)
Salary Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt
Serves as the primary liaison between Foreman and production employees to ensure accomplishment of all assigned work. Supervises assigned crew to ensure work is accomplished to specified requirements and in accordance with all company and contractual procedures.
Responsibilities- Works with Foreman to ensure resource requirements are understood.
- Supervises and ensures assigned crew accomplishes daily tasks and is prepared for next day tasks. Ensures crew assigned complies with all company and contractual requirements.
- Interfaces with QA and EHS department to ensure requirements are achieved.
- Assist Foreman as needed in work planning.
- Other related duties as assigned by Foreman.
- Demonstrated expertise within applicable trade.
- Understand the Naval Ship Repair requirements and working environment.
- Proficiency in standard office computer software.
- Must be able to work in the US.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid California driver's license.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position requiring 40+ hours of work per week. Mon-Fri 0600 – 1430 (or as otherwise assigned by General Manager) with pre-scheduled overtime as needed.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an office environment and shipyard environment.
TravelThis position does require ability to travel.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be available to work at heights, confined spaces and have ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes. May involve carrying objects that weigh up to 50 lbs., frequent stooping, bending, crawling, reaching, and walking.
WorkAuthorization / Security Clearance
- Completion of a satisfactory background check.
- Passing a drug test and physical examination.
- Eligibility to work in the US.
- Obtaining DBIDS level security clearance.
- OSHA 10 Maritime.
