Regional Vice President - Retirement Plan Sales

About The Role

Remote position – only considering candidates who reside in the outlined territory. Candidate must possess extensive Retirement Plan knowledge.

This position is responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing a customer portfolio defined in the performance plan in the assigned territory of NM, TX, LA, MS, and AL. This involves being the primary contact for new or existing customers, presenting formal product proposals, and maintaining ongoing prospects for new business development. The focus of the position is to build customer relationships and gain loyalty by listening, understanding, and responding to customers’ needs.

• Actively solicit new business opportunities with existing customers.
• Create and maintain networking relationships to create a pipeline of business.
• Maintain and meet new business contribution goals as outlined in the performance plan.
• Understand the benefits of Alerus Retirement and Benefits’ products and effectively differentiate Alerus Retirement and Benefits from the competition.
• Retain and expand existing customer relationships using the relationship and product models in place.
• Maintain periodic communication with clients to ensure service standards are being met.
• Represent Alerus Retirement and Benefits in community organizations and industry events.
