$16.50/hr - $17.00/hr

As a Retail Associate, you will ensure customers have a positive shopping experience, greet them warmly, maintain a clean and organized store, and follow company best practices across all areas of the store.

• Practice safe behaviors and maintain awareness on the sales floor.
• Keep the work area clutter‑free and secure, report unsafe conditions.
• Treat customers and associates with respect and courtesy.
• Assist customers at the register and throughout the store.
• Respond promptly to customer service calls.
• Represent and support the Ross brand.
• Perform cleaning tasks to maintain merchandise and customer areas.
• Adhere to the company dress code.
• Complete daily sizing and recovery tasks.
• Expedite merchandise receipts to the sales floor.
• Apply loss‑prevention practices and protect company assets.
• Handle cash and charge‑card transactions accurately.

• Effectively communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, and pleasant manner.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

• Use store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs.
• Stand, walk, and move around the store for 100 % of the working time.
• Bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop regularly.
• Push, pull, and lift more than 25 lb occasionally.
• Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other supplies.
• Stockroom shifts may require lifting more than 20 lb.
• Other assignments may require additional qualifications.
