• One on one private duty nursing shift care
• Administer medications and treatments according to a prescribed regimen
• Monitor client’s condition, including efficacy of treatment and medications
• Notify supervisor of changes in client’s condition
• Teach the client, family and PCG appropriate self-care techniques
• Document accurately and submit timely nursing notes, according to agency standards
• Participate in Continuing Education Programs

• Must possess valid current nursing license under the State Board of Nursing
• Must be of mature and responsible character
• Must possess general knowledge of disease process and medication action
• Must possess knowledge of necessary actions in emergency situations
• Must be able to effectively communicate with the client, family, PCG, and their nursing supervisor
• Must be in good physical and mental health
• Must complete the agency’s employment process
