Tech Control Facility Technician II supporting AFCENT under the CTSS-series contract. Your responsibilities include fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic, mechanical, and other components and equipment. You will solve complex problems, understand circuit interrelationships, exercise independent judgment, coach less‑experienced professionals, and provide onsite training for customer support personnel.
Responsibilities- Fabricate, install, maintain, and repair electronic, mechanical, and other types of components and equipment.
- Use technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand interrelationships of circuits, and exercise independent judgment in support of communications systems or equipment.
- Coach and review the work of less‑experienced professionals.
- Provide advice and onsite training for customer support personnel.
- Technical skills:
Intermediate hands‑on experience in installations, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communications systems or equipment. - Security Clearance Level: SECRET.
- Must meet the DoD 8570.01‑M certification requirement or otherwise stated in SPIN‑C or individual task order. Expected certifications:
Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing & Switching or Service Provider.
- Desired
Education:
Associate of Arts/Associate of Science. - Desired
Experience:
3+ years of related experience. - Intermediate experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment, including NET Promina equipment, KG, KY, KIV and ancillaries, Cisco routers/switches, patch panels, fiber optic modems and interface cards.

Hourly rate is estimated to be between $33.49 – $45.31 per hour, but actual salary depends on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. Total compensation may include allowances, premium uplifts, relocation or transportation benefits for international positions.
