The primary role of the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is to assist licensed therapists in providing tailored, high‑quality patient care and to support the facility's standards of excellence.

• Implement and execute established patient treatment plans under therapist supervision.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, referring physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide timely written documentation in accordance with facility and departmental requirements.
• Develop and refine clinical and professional skills through continued education and professional associations.
• Report changes in patient status or needs to the supervising therapist promptly.
• Support department operations and contribute to ongoing development.

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum.
• Unencumbered to practice and in good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• Knowledge of Medicare and other payor sources.
• Familiarity with resident rights.
• Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage concurrent responsibilities.

$38.00 – $45.00 per hour
