Under general supervision performs various jobs for patient food preparation.
Responsibilities- Performs duties for patient tray preparation, retail sales, and catering.
- Assembles patients’ trays;
Chops, slices, and peels food. - Delivers trays and snacks to the patient; transports food to other areas as needed
- Operates, cleans, and sanitizes necessary equipment.
- Stocks and cleans nourishment rooms, and refrigerators as assigned.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent
- Certifications: Food Handler certification based on city or state requirements.
Preferred
- Experience:
Preferred: 1 year experience in a healthcare environment.
