Toddler Teacher at Tobin Children's School

Overview

We are seeking a full‑time Toddler Teacher to join the Tobin Children’s School’s Natick campus. The role supports up to nine children in a full‑day, full‑year classroom while collaborating with two other teachers and an afternoon assistant.

• Plan, implement, and assess a developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddlers.
• Supervise children and maintain a safe, sanitary environment in accordance with EEC licensing regulations and NAEYC accreditation criteria.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding child progress and classroom activities.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
• Adapt classroom routines to accommodate flexible shift schedules (7:15‑3:30, 8:00‑4:00, 9:45‑5:45).

• EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher certification.
• Several years of early childhood teaching experience.
• Degree in early childhood education or a related field (highly valued).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Creativity in planning engaging, age‑appropriate activities.
• Knowledge of a second language is an asset.

• 1/2 hour paid break on workdays over 6 hours.
