We are looking for dedicated employees to join our team and provide the best experience for our customers every time they enter a DTLR store.

Position Summary

A Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales and builds customer relationships through excellent customer service and sales techniques. Responsibilities include product merchandising, sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Key focus areas are customer service, sales, and teamwork.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Display basic fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs, sell appropriate merchandise, and maintain DTLR standards while building relationships.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic, outgoing impression to customers and demonstrate enthusiasm for the job and company.
• Follow all company policies.
• Participate in service training and product programs.
• Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and ensure adequate size representation per visual directions.
• Help prevent theft by employees and customers.
• Maintain a neat and organized sales environment.
• Assist in keeping the store organized as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, candidates should be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The following are preferred but not mandatory:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Skills And Knowledge Requirements

• Excellent command of English for effective communication with management, customers, and colleagues.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in retail.
• Problem-solving, analytical skills, attention to detail, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills for customer service, inventory management, and store maintenance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods; lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Work extended hours during critical phases; adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Reliable transportation is required.
