Brandi's Hope is looking for a Direct Support Professional.

The right Direct Support Professional should possess strong interactive skills and a positive, creative, and energetic attitude to support people with intellectual/developmental disabilities who have challenging communication and behaviors. Good communication and a team oriented outlook are necessary attributes for success.

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalency, minimum two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, valid driver's license and pass background checks.   Direct Support Professional (Nights)
• Hours:
  
  Thursday 1:00am–7:00am and Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:00pm–7:00am
• Provide daily support to individuals with varying degrees of developmental/intellectual disabilities in areas such as job supports, self-care, recreational activities, and community inclusion
• Transport to appointments if needed; act as a job advocate or assist with feeding and hygiene as required
• Duties will be discussed with the employer

• Starting pay: $10.00 per hour with a guaranteed 45-hour week
• Overtime pay for DSPs: $15.00 per hour
• Overtime credit: 3 hours of unworked overtime pay for perfect attendance each week after 42 hours (effective worked hourly rate becomes $11.31)
• After orientation, base rate increases to $11.00 per hour; overtime $16.50; rate of pay for hours worked $12.40

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum one (1) year of verifiable work experience in the last three (3) years
• Current, valid driver's license to transport clients as needed
• Current CPR training
• Must submit to extensive background check and drug screening before employment offer
