Position Summary
The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, back up the truck, prepare and restore the job site, prepare the truck for the following day, and maintain the truck and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines, especially OSHA and DOT for the safety of all personnel.
- Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
- Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
- Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.
- Navigate routes to the job site.
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 pounds to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.

Physical Requirements
- Remain standing approximately 90% of the time.
- Move materials from commercial motor vehicles to job sites, including unloading and loading flatbeds or booms.
- Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Work outdoors while making deliveries.

- Communicate solutions quickly if problems arise.
