CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver

Dedicated local drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers. Unlike some driver positions, this one gives you a better idea of the number of miles and hours each week holds, which means you'll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.
* Competitive pay:  + Average is $1,650 per week / $85,800 per year  + Start at $30 per hour  + Receive a $1/hour increase each year  + Guaranteed 40 hours per week but average 50 hours per week  + Overtime paid at time and a half  + Average 20 stops per week
* Home daily
* Monday - Friday/early Saturday morning, 6 p.m.

- 4 a.m.
* Hauling heavy equipment parts and supplies to other store locations
* The route runs:
+ Start at Jackson, OH, driver load  + Stop 1:
Parkersburg, OH, driver load  + Stop 2:
Belle, WV, customer unload/load  + Stop 3:
Nitro, WV, driver unload  + Return to Jackson, OH for end of shift, driver unload
* Newer equipment and trailers (dry van)
* Will need to be forklift certified, will be required to load/unload freight at certain locations

* Drivers must live within a 75-mile radius
* Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
* Drivers must have Class A CDL
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
* No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
* No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
* No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
* No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
* No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

Great Company. Good Pay, Good Benefits, No Layoff Policy, Brand New equipment, up to date facilities, stays on top of technology. Management I dealt with was amazing.

Great job for those who love to travel. Will be out anywhere from 1 weeks to 6 months on tour. Super fun and will challenge your backing skills. For those who like a challenge and who have always wanted to visit big cities give it a shot.
