Job DescriptionProvisioning Agent position at Southwest Airlines. Part of a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA); pay, schedules, and other job details are set through the labor union.
Pay & Benefits- Pay of $20.03 per hour, with opportunity for future increase based on time in position and applicable collective bargaining agreement

Want to be part of the Team that helps flights take off ready and refreshed? Provisioning Agents help get planes stocked and cleaned before each flight. They load snacks, drinks, and ice, set up entertainment kits, and tidy cabin areas. Work occurs in the warehouse and on the ramp, driving equipment, moving supplies, and teaming up with Flight Attendants and other Agents.

- Warehouse area: prepare items for stocking; operate forklift and pallet jacks as necessary; pack and repack liquor, beer, and wine; manage ice; prepare perishable items; review flight information to plan snacks; maintain clean work area; stock provisioning trucks
- Ramp Area: load/unload and service aircraft; transport COMAT; drive provisioning truck safely; work indoors and outdoors near terminals and aircraft
- General: work as part of lean staff; respond to internal customer inquiries; attend training; maintain positive relationships with customers; adapt duties by provisioning station size
- Must meet physical ability requirements and may perform other duties as directed
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English
- Ability to complete Provisioning Agent training and probationary period
- Adherence to Probationary Attendance Policy
- Maintain satisfactory performance evaluations (at ~50, 100, 150 days and annually)
- Awareness of hazards and ability to handle emergencies
- Ability to work under tight time constraints
- Ability to operate radio equipment and communicate instructions
- Ability to type or use a computer keyboard
- Ability to work on provisioning trucks and stands at heights up to 10 feet
- Ability to read documents and follow provisioning procedures and regulations

ExperienceNo experience requirement
Licensing/Certification- Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge and meet local airport requirements
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
- May require Customs Seal and eligibility to work on international flights
- Ability to lift and move items up to 70 pounds regularly; repetitive lifting of 25-65 pounds
- Ability to bend, stretch and squat; work in designated areas including galley, provisioning vehicles, warehouse and offices
- Ability to operate cutting tools to open supply boxes
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance per company standards
- U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States
- Minimum age 18
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as outlined in the labor agreement
- 401(k) and retirement plan details subject to vesting schedule
- Profit-sharing contributions subject to vesting and discretionary by company
